| Stork & Veil, a new metro Atlanta boutique, specializes in unique baby shower gifts and bridal accesssories. The boutique, which opened in February, is owned by retired master photographer Julia Russo. For decades Russo specialized in photographing babies and young children and after retiring, opened the retail store in Alpharetta to continue personally servicing people celebrating the momentous occasions in life. By providing unique gifts and services to brides and mothers-to-be, Russo is pleased to continue to be part of her customer’s celebrations. Stork & Veil prides itself on carrying fresh, new products that provide a personal touch. With a wide selection of products, Stork & Veil makes gift-giving occasions easy. Unique products for baby include “Diaper Cakes”, which contain an array of baby items from teething rings and pacifiers to burp cloths and bibs, and plush animals, silver keepsakes, and even gifts for dad round out the store’s selection of baby gifts. For the bride, Stork & Veil carries accessories and jewelry, bridesmaid gifts, monogrammed linens, bags and soaps as well as wedding favors. Customers can also shop for personalized, made-to-order gift baskets fitting of all occasions. Other planned events will feature sign language classes for babies, new baby product demonstrations, and periodic special events just for Dads and the signature special-- all babies under one year of age receive a free gift when parents visit the store.
